Mission

The Mission of the World Trade Association of Utah:

To assemble a group of professional people in Utah to promote network and expand international trade and commerce.

As a non-profit organization of individuals, corporations, government, academic institutions, and others, World Trade Association of Utah is a center for a common interest in promoting international commerce. WTA provides a forum for exchange of ideas and information through a schedule of monthly luncheons, speakers, seminars, workshops, publications, and special events to strengthen the knowledge and value of the global association.

The Association offers its members a valuable opportunity to share experiences and remain current with other professionals in the complex environment of international trade. Members of WTA participate in a variety of activities and responsibilities involving business in the global economy.

WTA co-sponsors workshops and seminars with academic, government and private organizations specific to international trade. The activities of the WTA include a schedule of monthly luncheons each year in Salt Lake City, Utah. The WTA annual banquet is held in November for all members of the association. WTA sponsors an annual golf tournament in June. Each year WTA bestows the leading International Person of the Year Award and the International Company of the Year Award with special recognition for contributions to international commerce.

Interested in the international economy? Involved in any aspect of international commerce? The World Trade Association of Utah invites your membership and participation.
